George Lawlor

240x160_georgelawlorGeorge is a former Mayor of Wexford, a role which George's late grand-father Eddie Hall held on two previous occasions.He was the youngest member of Wexford Borough Council following his election in June 2004 when he became part of a strong Labour team on that council when all 5 Labour candidates were successful. In June 2009, George topped the poll in his local electoral area, securing over 2,000 1st preference votes.

Since 1996, George has been owner/manager of Impression Print in Wexford town. He is a well known figure in music circles throughout County Wexford and is a member of Wexford Light Opera Society and Sarfields Gaelic Football Club. He is also founding chairperson of Richmond Residents Association.

Following his election in 2004 he was appointed to the board of Wexford Area Partnership and the South East Regional Authority Consultative Committee. Cllr Lawlor currently sits on Wexford County Council's Housing SPC.
