Minister Howlin welcomes Graduate recruitment campaign for the Irish Civil Service 2015 Over 200 graduate jobs to be filled in the Civil Service

Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Brendan Howlin T.D today (18 September 2015) welcomed the launch by the Public Appointments Service of the 2015 Graduate recruitment campaign for the Irish civil service.
The Civil Service exists as an independent, impartial body to serve the State and people of Ireland by carrying out the work of Government and delivering public services efficiently and effectively. Excellent opportunities now exist for high calibre graduates to join the civil service. Graduate recruits in the Civil Service have a crucial role to play in policy development, strategy formulation, and driving operational excellence across a number of Departments and Offices.
The Public Appointments Service expects to fill over 200 vacancies from these competitions. Candidates are invited to obtain further information on the roles, register for job alerts, and apply via the Public Appointments Service’s dedicated graduate recruitment website at www.gradpublicjobs.ie. This fresh, people focused, easy to navigate website has recently won the prestigious GradIreland Graduate Recruitment Website of the Year Award 2015.
Minister Howlin stated:

A wide range of Graduate level opportunities are being advertised, commencing today and continuing over the coming weeks:

- · Graduate Economist with the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service;
- · Trainee Auditor in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General;
- · Junior Diplomat/Third Secretary in the Department of Foreign Affairs;
- · Legal Researchers
